fashion makes sic-fi geeks (like me) chic

by Ursula Mayes

I have always been a sic-fi geek so obviously, Star Wars is #1 on my list. There is something so nostalgic about Star Wars and makes me so happy. So naturally, I was over the moon (no pun intended) when I saw lots of nods to wars down the Preen, Rodarte and Skingraft Fall '14 shows.

I wish I could have every single piece, but I'm think of getting something a little more versatile like one of the blouses. Either this or the all white with Darth Vader in black.  Pair it with some moto leggings or denim skinnies, black leather booties and a leather moto jacket...I'm done.

Love the idea of pairing the outfit with some neutral, taupe colored nails.

I spied these futuristic Prada wedges to complete the look at Bloomingdales. Love the sic-fi vibe of them.

Rodarte's Fall 2014 collection featured Star Wars inspired dresses with C-3PO, Yoda and Luke Skywalker. I wonder if this is all a buzz for the new Star Wars film coming out maybe?? ;)
